-Baby supplies such as diapers, wipes, lotion, powder, and formula
-Baby furniture gently used
-Baby and maternity clothes gently used
-Monetary donations to purchase baby supplies

Impact Statement
We set out to supply more maternity and baby items by acquiring shelves and racks and space savers.  We also needed the storage area insulated.  We were able to get the community to supply the shelving, insulate the area, and donate more baby items.

Goals for next year are continuing to find space for acquiring more baby items to donate. We would also like to grow our post-abortion Bible study and add on an abstinence program
Background Statement
We are a Christ-centered ministry committed to upholding the sanctity of human life.  We opened Jan.22, 2008 35 years to the day after the Row v. Wade decision making abortion legal.  We continue to support women as they go through a crisis time in their life with an unwanted and/or unplanned pregnancy.  Many of the clients have no mentors in their life and no support system.  We assign them to someone who mentors them and provides resources in the community as well as a support system for them.  They are guided through reading assignments about health, nutrition, pre and post-natal care,  and things they will encounter being a new parent. They continue with our program even after the baby is born up to 18 months in some cases.   They work through a point system acquiring points to get baby and maternity supplies. We have also worked with some of the fathers providing male counselors/mentors to support them. Through the provision of support we hope to show the love of Christ. We have helped several women in the community work through the shame and pain of an abortion through a Bible study support group.

Board Chair Statement
I have served on the board as well as volunteered for several years with Wakulla Pregnancy Center. I enjoyed raising my own children and now get to experience my grandchildren. I also have been on the other end of life, taking care of my mother and sister as their lives were ending. I would not trade these experiences for anything, because I know we are here for a reason and so many times it's to positively affect someone else's life. I've been blessed by my personal life experiences with "life" and everytime I hear about one of our clients making positive responsible decisions I get so excited. When I see dads along side moms and then along side their babies it brings tears of joy. I know God is the creator of life and I'm very blessed to see lives changed for the better.
CEO Statement/Executive Director Statement I have found that with hope and support, people can usually get through anything.  Some young people have no mentors to guide them through difficult situations that arise.  Without a parent or mentor to show their love and support, situations can seems hopeless. In the midst of an overwhelming situation we come along side of these young women showing them there is hope.  We try to be sensitive to their needs, and once a trust relationship is developed, equip them with options and tools to be successful. I just hope my life is a testimony of the power of a loving God and His plan for me.
Description We will offer free pregnancy testing, nondiagnostic ultra sounds, and help finding resources for expectant mothers and their babies. If we hope to convince mothers to give birth, then we need to help them with physical needs necessary to take care of their baby.
Category Public, Society Benefit, General/Other Public Assistance
Population Served Families, Females, Adolescents Only (13-19 years)
Short Term Success Providing support keeps women off government assistance for long periods,  and saves lifes. Many women come back to volunteer giving them a sense of importance and worth.
Long term Success Women will keep their babies and raise healthier, happier families.  Families with support may stay together, or at least work together for the children who will become healthier adults. Moral families will learn to respect community and social laws.
Program Success Monitored By The Ekyros data base creates reports to help show stats that help determine progress. Counselor notes are reviewed by director and then discussed at group meetings where different things arw brain stormed.
Description A group of 2 or 3 women come together for 7 weeks working on a specific Bible study for healing. There is a bonding that happens with the group and much crying, laughing and learning take place.
Budget $0.00
Category None of the above
Population Served Females, ,
Short Term Success long and short term are similar.  Once the pain is worked through there is healing that takes place and the more time that passes the more healing that can occur.
Long term Success When a woman holds in the pain of an abortion, she displays other behaviors that are a result of the pain she is suppressing. Once she has an opportunity to share her pain with like minded women in a safe environment there is healing that takes place. She can build on that healing having a more successful life and more obtainable goals as a result
Program Success Monitored By The facilitator works with other facilitators in other groups discussing and brain storming.  We decided not to reinvent the wheel, but to work with other centers  getting their ideas and stategies.
Examples of Program Success Facilitators of the group have all been through the group and have come back sometimes years later to give back.  They have exhibited behavior changes in their lives and have decided to help others giving them an opportunity to use the same method to change and improve their lives.
Program Comments
CEO Statement/Executive Director/Board Comments Being faith based and pro-life sometimes makes acquiring funding difficult because people tend to avoid touchy subjects.  Finding enough volunteers is the greatest challenge.  People will donate their money but volunteering is a low priority since they  have so little extra time.  However there are so many rewards in mentoring, and helping hurting people through difficult times.  Because we are small we can be seen as a family and we have the time to show love and concern for each client.

Experience Before becoming Director I volunteered at A Woman's Pregnancy Center in Tallahassee for 18 months.  I worked toward raising funds to open this center and it opened in 2008.  I worked there without pay until Nov. 2011.  Previously I went to school to get AA as a Pharmacy Tech and before that an AA in business Technologies as a legal Assistant.

Organization Comments The community in which we live was hit hard by the financial crisis of our nation especially the fishing community.  It is slowly recovering but giving is at an all time low making it challenging to get donations. The community is a generous one and we find that people are willing to make baby items rather than donate cash.  The challenge is to come up with new ideas that will generate a cash flow.  We have many ideas that we are excited about instituting in the future.  We'll see what the future holds.
