Organization Comments
Fundraising is always a challenge. We are attempting to reach the younger generation, with Audubon Adventure kits tailored to 3rd to 5th graders, which we distribute free of charge to local county public schools, and by awarding a yearly free high school student scholarship to Camp Talon.
We also attempt to undertake a conservation project each year. We have
established a butterfly garden in conjuction with St Marks National Wildlife Refuge, and now are trying to establish a tern nesting island in Lake Lafayette.
